Coconut tree problem

The coconut trees in my home garden are always being attacked by a beetle called 'vant' (I think it is the rhinoceros beetle). It is killing lots of trees in my area. I have used Sevin mixed with sand and salt placed in the head of the tree by the climber but it seems to only fix the problem temporarily. It is costly to have to keep repeating the procedure and the climber not happy to do and charges double. I have a compost pile close by and inside are lots of fat white grubs - are these the babies? - and if so is it a bad idea to make compost in the home garden. Please does anyone have a good solution for saving my trees. Thanks

NAtural enemies
Rhinoceros beetle eggs, larvae, pupae, and
adults may be attacked by various predators, including pigs, rats,
ants, and some beetles. They may also be killed by two important
diseases:the fungus Metarhizium anisopliae and the Oryctes virus
disease.

Management. Rhinoceros beetles can be controlled by eliminating
the places where they breed and by manually destroying adults
and immatures.
• Chop and burn decaying logs or break them up and destroy any
rhinoceros beetles developing inside.
• Cut stumps as close to the soil surface as possible.
• Dead, standing coconuts should be felled, chopped, dried, and
burned.
• Rhinoceros beetles do not usually lay eggs in potential breeding
sites that are obscured by growing vegetation. Vines or
ground covers can be planted or allowed to grow over logs or
stumps that cannot be destroyed.
• Piles of dead leaves or grass can be composted, used for mulch,
burned, or spread on the ground in a thin layer.
• Compost piles should be maintained properly. When turning
compost piles or applying compost to plants, destroy any rhinoceros
beetles found. It takes longer for rhinoceros beetle larvae
to develop than it takes to make compost, so properly maintained
compost should not serve as a source of rhinoceros
beetles.
• A hooked wire can be used to extract and destroy rhinoceros
beetle adults feeding in palm crowns.

Solution to kill the beetles....

Dear experts,

Make solution of 1 part of Caster and 5 part of cow dung in a tub/pot.
Place this tub(s) in the corners of your garden. You can see the died beetles in the tub/pot. This will not take you much cost. Try onece and please give me your comments.

Regards
Amanullah AG.

Dear Amanullah Will be trying your solution. When you say 'Caster' do you mean caster 'sugar'? If so does this mean they are poisoned by the sugar? Is it ok to use ordinary white sugar?

Thanks Amanullah - But where do I get caster oil seed? Is it ok to use caster oil from the medical shop?

coconut tree

We are having around 10 coconut trees at our home garden. Oflate, in all the trees the leaflets are listing down at early stages and them fell down even when they are green. But the leaf blades are looking broad and we do not notice any problem in their size.

what should we do to stop the falling of the leaf.
