Hello,
I am interested in organic farming without use of any fertilizers. I heard that for converting the coconut pith into compost, we have to add urea. If you make compost in this manner will it become organic so that micro organisms can grow in the soil ?

Hi

Never use un decomposed coir pith. It takes lot of nutrients specially nitrogen for decomposition. Only after complete decomposition use it has organic manure

hello,

you can compost coir pith by using EM.1 COMPOSTER which is organic product manufactured by mapleorgtech india pvt ltd......

For further information and product details ,please mail at rakeshcam09@gmail.com

Thanks for your response Mr.Harish. But my question is different. I know that we have to use only decomposed coir pith. My question is whether use of urea for decomposing coir pith will harm the organic farming. Will the urea kill the micro organisms in the soil ?
