It is one of the second most prolific grown crop in the world. The stock length ranges between 70 Cms to 90 Cms Chrysanthemum requires strict Scheduling and care to get the maximum yield of the crop. If grown well, it has proven to be on of the most profitable crops to be grown.
Growing Conditions: Mums thrive well in a day time temperature of less than 28 Deg C and a night time of
more than 10 to 12 Deg C. The Life Cycle of the Chrysanthemum crop is 14 weeks. About 80 Plants can be planted in one square meter area.
MARKETING: Apart from the fact that 20 yrs old Flower Company (a ltd co) has undertaken to purchase all the produce from the farm, Chrysanthemum is one of the least grown crop and one of the most demanded in India & overseas.
Chrysanthemum, traditionally is already grown in outdoor & indoor conditions.
Modern Chrysanthemum such as our products, are grown in protective conditions and adds value to the users in terms of vase life (over 12 days - compared to locally grown chrysanthemum that lasts hardly for 1 day). The Modern chrysanthemums also come in about 20 colors and verities.
Chrysanthemum stems attract a price range of Rs. 4.5 to Rs. 5.25 / Stem under buy back agreement.
