Hi,
I am writing a business plan to implement a greenhouse for growing roses and carnation in Bangalore at a large scale.
1) After carrying out my market research, I have decided to focus on Japan and emerging Asian markets in the medium term and East European countries in the long term. Please do give your comments.
2) In rose, after studying Japanese demand, I have concluded on Floribunda variety. And in carnation, broadly, looking at spray carnations.
3) For Export Orientation, I assumed greenhouse to be automated fan-pad ones.
4) I am unable to locate information on what is the situation with planting material. Do we still import it, or whether we have started developing our own varieties and breeding them ? Can someone give me an average price for spray carnation and rose floribundas, whether imported or indian.
5) I am willing to share my bplan once it is complete, with anyone who requires it. Send me a message on this thread, and I will send it once I am done by 10 Sep.
