The native breeds of India are fast vanishing as the livestock deptt is encouraging the crossbreed cattle with a skewed logic of increased milk yields.Though our native breeds may be less yielders of milk,that does not mean we should destroy our native breeds,which are part and parcel of our culture and national ethos.
