pls contact with vetinary colleage, mannuthi in thrissur district. You can buy cows from the colleage farm and you will get all details and advice also from them.

Dear Sharieef,
Buying cows from veterinary college, NDRI or any government farm is not a wise decision as they only cull those animals which are not fit as per their standard. No government farm will offer you to setect the animals from their stock. The reasons for culling are generally poor productivity, repeat breeding, history of mastitis, poor growth rate, permanent disability etc.
You must select animals from recognized and reputed cattle breeding farms or livestock suppliers.
