Can somebody share their experience of breeding goats by artificial insemination. Which is advisable-natural with Bucks or artificial ?

Answer for your question depends on
- What breed of buck-Local breed ? or Exotic breed like Boer?
- If local breed- Best option is Natural crossing,in which you get 80 to 90% Success rate.
- If foreign Breed like Boer - If Good male is available for purchase in your area ,the first option is Natural mating
- If breed not available, last option is Artificial insemnation,in which you get only 30 to 40% success rate.(Reason is we can only perform Blind extra uterine insemnation in Goats ,Unlike in Cattle where we do intra uterine insemnation by palpating with inserting hands.
