Hello Sir,
I want to setup a bio gas plant for commercial purpose(for vehicles)I can collect cow dung of 10000kg per day. I want to know how much CBG i can get . Are there any alternates to produce more CBG using the latest or imported technology. If so please help me on this.

And any one in india using CBG for driving the vehicles?

Regards,
Kiran.

Bio gas for vehicles

Bio gas contains upto 25% carbon Di Oxide, thus reducing the calorific value of the gas. This gas will not provide enough power to drive vehicles unless you remove the CO2. Moreover bio gas contains mercaptans, which are very corrosive for the engine in presence of high moisture in the bio-gas. You have to remove the mercaptans, CO2 & moisture from the bio-gas before using it for vehicles.
thanks.
