You all know about the scarcity of Aegle marmolos (Bael/Bilvam) for its best importance of “Root, Bark, Fruit and Leaf” towards preparation of Ayurvdic formulations.
The “Eturnagaram/ warangal Dt.” is famous for Bael fruit in forest areas. It may not be viable for economical collection.
There is one Govt.agency, Singareni Colleries Company, Kothagudem in AndhraPradesh.They are growing large scale plantations of Bael, Aegle marmelos( Maredu/ Bilva). On sustainable harvesting methodology we can obtain this root/bark material from the below said organization.
You may contact the mail ID of the highest authority and get the continuous contract for establishment of Buy Back agreement for all parts of Bilva on long term basis : . He is the prestigious forest officer : Addl.Prl.CCF. Dr.Surender Pand
