I am in the market to purchase a few goats and sheep. Wanted to know when is the best time to purchase so that there are minimal diseases that may occur due to climatic conditions? Farm is in Tamil Nadu and we are in the fag end of South West monsoon..
Secondly, is it advisable to buy 5-6 month old animals and start breeding right away or should we wait for a few months?
