Banks assistance for farm loan.

Hi,
I am based in bangalore and plan to venture in to farming and have been scouting for land around 100kms from Blr. Could you pls help me any banks whom I can approch for loan to buy land.

Also any land of about 5 to 10 acres for sale around bangalore. Pls email or contact me .

Dear Rakesh,

Banks do not generally finance for purchase of land that too around bangalore where rates are above 3 to 4 lacs minimum.It is also not wise to borrow from any one to purchase lands as the investment is heavy and viability is difficult to achieve.Under exceptional conditions purchase of land can be viable with good consultant, good project and success with blessings of nature. Further I also suggest not to purchase lands upto 250 km from bangalore as labour is a big problem.

It is also wise to tieup with a consultant decide on project then search for land. Please also bear in mind that minimum investment should be about 25 lacs apart from land.
