Goat Farm

What happened to your GOAT FARM, Mr. Antony? Last year you informed that it will be ready by June'2010.

Now it is going to be June 2011.

Why have you resorted to selling CDs instear of farming?

Mahesh

Thanks for asking Mahesh,

As many may not be aware, I'm a frequent traveler since I’m a manager in a BPO, I’m mostly onsite , agriculture is my passion and not my livelihood, I would eventually make it my livelihood but there is long way for that, the cd’s are very informative and I used to receive a min of 5-10 calls per day from people asking for clarification on animal husbandry and other things when I came across these cd’s they were great and give the required information and hence decided to promote them.

The farm is there, we do have it a bit integrated, we have few cows, goats and birds. I kind of follow a very different method of goat farming that you may want to be interested in starting at your farm, provided you have a lot a space of grazing around.

We have more than 100 acres around my farm where I can graze my animals, so I get my friends to invest and pay them 20% returns in 12 months. We get the investment in the month of July and purchase only male kids goat and few male claves from all Shandy and graze them they very much put on weight 4-6 times more than when we buy them, simply because for any animals the max weight gain period is from 3-10 months; and then dispose them off in first week of April when there is no more fodder available around due to the heat, brings in decent money.

Less hassle of running a farm! Try it!

Apart from that I keep doing small consultancy work for people who ask when I get free time.

No issues Mustafa bai, I’m just happy that people know that I exist in this most passionate profession

Regards,
Antony
