Alphonso mango farming

Am a planning to start a 50 acre alphonso mango farm here in Uganda but only lack the expertise. Am assured of a market from a fruit juice making company. Take me throughnthe basics and some financial analyses.

financial help is available from all banks including SBI, NABARD also.
Uganda falls in which state Sir. i think in Maharashtra right. alphonso mango is the native of maharashtra sindhudurg district and grows very well there.

Dear Namujumbi

Although generally equatorial, the climate of Uganda is mostly wetter with rain generally spread throughout the year . Mango needs a dry and arid climate for you to get good fruit and commercial value for Alphonso mango. If you get thunder showers once the flowers set then you are at a loss that season.

Kindly go through your climatic conditions before you decide on the cultivation of mango in your region.
