Tell me in brief about the height of grass, when full grown and any special attention needed during the planting ?
How much seeds required for a hecter ?

Please give the details reg., lucerne grass. what conditions are requirred to grow lucerne. Whether it will grow in Tamilnadu, esp., my soil is saline. Whether it is shade tolerant. Can it grow in coconut fields or it needs full sunlight. such things are to be clarified.Since I'm planning to start a diary farm in 6- 8 months time. So I'm planning to grow sufficient fodder. I already have 1 acre of CO-4 grass. Planning to increase the fodder acreage. Do give me genuine advice regarding the same.

Dear sir you can cultivate in saline soil for that you have to use natural fertiliser as well as Gypsum..
below 35c temperature is more favorable for Lucerne Grass so in tamilnadu you can grow without any hesitation..And moreover you can grow it in coconut field and it also work as nitrogen fixation that cause increase coconut production.
