it is very easy to cultivate, if you have any pond in your farm can used for cultivation and also you can establish pond by digging for 1to 1.5 feet below the ground, size of depending on your requirement (a pit with surface area of 10 to 15 sq.ft can yield you 2-5 kg /month) inline the pit with polythene sheet just avoid water percolation and pit should be not 100% shade most of the day pit should receive sunlight.Azolla mother culture may be released for the pit and will be ready by in one month to harvest.
if old pit put some lime to clean initially later azolla them self take care of cleaning
