Agri.as a profession

Hello sir,
i would like to share my profile.
I am working in a bank and going to retire in april 2016. I wish to adopt agri.as a profession without any agri. Background. I wish to settle permanently in himachal pardesh after retirement. I have a little petty amount to invest in himachal pardesh. I cannot purchase any agri. Land as i am neither agriculturist nor a himachal resident. What i should i do?

HI

If you are planning to settle in himachal pradesh, you can go in for Mushroom farming. Not much of land iss required. You can acquire training from the institute at Solan.

Dear Sir,
You are thinking what next after 5 years?
Ok, now you take some time to choose your selective section of agriculture i.e. horticulture, mushroom, nursery, agri produce business, etc.

One you selected anything in agri related section, then try to have one day training in a week or when you free in your location from progressive farmers in the area where you located now, at the time of your retirement, you can choose your lovable job in agriculture.
