There are hundreds of Drip Irrigation manufacturing industries in India. Their selling practices are unethical, and not doing any good to the farmers of the country. They recycle the old drip lines of the major companies like Netafim and Jains. They provides the recycled material to farmers at low cost. Farmers are not aware of its lifetime and its accuracy of discharge. They are not providing a proper quotation also. Dealers are doing the design without proper knowledge of the system. Dealers are cheating farmers without giving the subsidies allotted for them. Even govt. officials are taking bribes to get subsidies granted from the system. These types of actions are really pathetic and has to be changed. We must promote the companies with real CSR's and Customer centric approach. More SPV (Special Purpose Vehicles) like Gujarat Green Revolution Company, Andra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project must come up in all other state. The schemes like RKVY, NMMI etc has to be revived.
