Hello Friends,

(1) I am from kolhapur (maharashtra).I have to start a poultry business with 50000 broiler birds.But I dont have any kind of knowledge about poultry.So should I start my own poultry farm or should I make a contract with companies like suguna .

(2) IF I make a contract with suguna they provide with a 50000 birds.Or they have some limitation on providing birds.

(3) profit differnce between own poultry farm and contract poultry farm

Every poultry farm has its own risk.
Take up contract farming for at least 1 Year to get knowledge such as weight gain, Food Conversion Ratio, Diseases, Labour problem and vision of people of Sugna, Venkatesh, Mayuri hatcheries etc.then u can start on ur own.
Initially star with 1000 birds.

hiii kirti s sir... sir i am staying in mysore karnataka... basically i am working as an engineer.. i want start the business poultry farming plzz can u provide us any reference book like something ... r kindly can u guide me basic tips
