About melia dubia

I had posted an ad for selling some Melia Dubia trees (http://www.agricultureinformation.c...iew-listing-details/57bbe8bf1dbef1e91f6b712e/). Unfortuntely people are offering very low price without even seeing the trees. The prices being quoted are as low as Rs.1000/- per tree, which is ridiculous. Many people keep telling me that it is good to grow Melia Dubia commercially as we would get around 8k per tree in 7-8 years. But when it comes to actual sales, it seems that there is no proper market for it or the prices are very low. Please consider this point before growing this tree commercially. Or else you may regret.

Dear Mr. Raghuhht,

So, when they are quoting the price without even seeing the trees then its clear - they are exploiting you. Did you try talking to any plywood industry? Just google around and you might more info.
One option is - you try inquiring at IPIRTI Bangalore ( http://ipirti.gov.in/ ) I am sure they will be able to help you. If you find any interesting help then do share with all of us here..
