About being a farmer

My mother owns a farming land in gujarat along with her brothers and sisters. I want to know:
Does her children become farmer in inheritance automatically?
If so then what should we do to become a farmer?
Do we need to get a farmer certificate for showing that we are farmers?
Where do we get this farmer certificate from?

Please let me know about the above, I donot know abc of this.

You become the farmer by inheritance, you can also get a certificate from tahsildar office.
