Dear Hari,
There are so many factors we should consider while budgeting like - breed of animal, machinery, level of automation, type of shed construction etc.
But for simple calculation there are two methods.
1- Factor Wise
Buffalo Price - 75000*100 = 75, 00, 000
Shed - 30, 00,000
Machinery - Basic - 10, 00,000
Working Capital for 1 Month - 450 per animal = 450*100*30 days = 13, 50,000
Business Expenses - 6, 50,000
= Total - 1, 35, 00,000
2- Proportional Budgeting
1-1o Animal - 1, 00,000 per Animal
11-30 Animal -1, 15,000 per Animal
31-50 Animal - 1, 25,000 per Animal
51-100 Animal -1, 40,000 per Animal
101-250 Animal -1, 75,000 per Animal
251-500 Animal -2, 00,000 per Animal
So in your case the budget for 100 buffalo dairy farm would be approx. 1.35 Cr to 1.50 Cr

What is the price at which you are offering Murrah? What will be the age? Can you supply 40-50 numbers to Kerala and can you transport them to Kerala at your own risk? (May have to take NOC from all Animal Rights Groups on the way-around > 2700 KM!!) Please provide total cost estimates including transport costs to Palakkad, Kerala.
