Best Irregation System

Dear All,

I belong to an area where there is no sustainable water resources like river/canals or governemnt provided irregation systems. We largely depends on Rain GODs which now a days seems forget the path of our area. This resulted in underground water depletion and wells are no more filled with water.
I was going through an article on Jain irrigation systems at micro level i.e. drip. Can anyone suggest me on it and assocoiated cost involved.
