Hello Everyone,

I recently bought 5.5 acres of land near Nanjangud.

1. Initially I had planned on Mango & Pomegranate mostly with a sprinkling of coconut trees if possible, silver oak & teak in the borders. There is a borewell in the land and its located next to a lake; at times water overflows during the peak of rainy season I am not sure what do I grow in such conditions.

2. I have decided to install drip irrigation to cater to summer requirements. Please provide me info on Bank loans and subsidies available for purchase of drip irrigation and borewell pumps.

you can contact your local horticulture department and micro irrigation projects director in your area for subsidies. and your nearest bankers for agri finance.mango and pomegranate can plant with multi crops.in this system initial investment.then low maintenance high income. you get 3 to 4 crops extra income in that same land and main crop production.for more details ananyaagrotech@yahoo.co.in
