This is Wilson,employee, I have a question, Please help me.
My mother was the owner of 15acres of land in karnataka.Now it is being sold. I want to buy agriculture land. Can I buy a agriculture ?

According to law,
NO ONE CAN ACQUIRE AGRICULTURAL LAND IN KARNATAKA WHOSE ANNUAL NON AGRICULTURAL INCOME IS TWO LAKH RUPEES AND ABOVE:- On and from 20-10-1995, no person who or a family or a joint family which has an assured annual income of not less than rupees two lakhs from sources other than agricultural lands shall be entitled to acquire any land whether as land owner, landlord, tenant or mortgagee with possession or otherwise or partly in one capacity and partly in another.
