Construction of open well

I am from Karaikudi, Sivagangai dist, Tamilnadu about to start goat farm. I am now in progress of constructing open well of 30' dia and 30' depth for irrigation. I deployed JCB to dig the well of 30' dia upto 10 feet depth. From 10 to 30th feet, I planned to use poclain / Hitachi to dig the well. However, I cannot find the experts to do it here. Further, I cannot find labour too to dig the well manually. One civil engineer quoted very heavy to take the job. I get strucked. Can any one please help.

Note: I have good water source from10 feet onwards, as my field is nearer to river bank. I did borewells, but the yield is not to the expectation, even the spots were identified by government bodies.

Vinsura if your Well is near the river there is no point in you just digging a open pit of the said dia. You will be spending a lot of money in maintaining the well from caving in . Your best option is to have a concrete cast well done.Find out in your locality if there are any concrete ring wells and ask them for a contact person who will do this job for you. Don't ever make the mistake of digging an open well in the soil but if you hit bedrock than its a different story., you can build a concrete section till the bedrock to have a stable well.
