Actisaf Sc 47 is a complete range of thermostable live yeast concentrate Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Sc 47 is produced by a unique Lesaffre(Levure, fabrication de levure et panification - Levures Lesaffre) manufacturing process that ensures a better stability, which means that more yeast cells reach the intestine or the rumen alive.
Fiber can hide an unexploited ‘milk potential’ and the live yeast allows producers to increase the ration’s available energy.
ACTISAF stimulates the fiber digesting rumen microflora in 2 ways
1.ACTISAF stimulates the fungi in the rumen which help break down lignin.
2.ACTISAF stimulates the number of and activity of the bacteria that break down hemicellulose and cellulose in the rumen converting them into nutrients that the animal can utilize.
