Plse let me know the place where you want to construct polyhouse.Poly house tomato cultivation is a highly profitable business.Off season vegetable production can fetch high economic return. In kerala Bitter gourd, Yard beans, Smooth gourd, having highest demand through out the year, if adopt GAP.
Tomatoes- select indeterminate varities, each plant will yield around 25 -50 kg/plant with in 14 months, if we give proper management. Bed size 1m X 0.4mX1 m- In rows 60cm ,in line 50 cm spacing.In Biofarms we are conducting trials on vegetables, Tomatoes, Cherry tomatoes, Brinjal and chillies ,lettuce,Broccoli,chineese cabbage etc.If you need more details

Growing indeterminate tomato varieties brings its share of efforts. you have to give adequate attention to pruning otherwise the plant grows to almost 20 feet. I faced this experience. Although the plant looks huge, yield decreases as vegetative growth is more.
So please give thought to the amount of work involved, almost everyday pruning is required.
As pointed out, yield is 3 times the outside yield and it lasts for almost 1 year.
And you get to take advantage of off season jump in rates.
