hello all,

We are professionally run sheep breeding farm located in the outskirts of bangalore with a flock structureof 1000 sheep,Right now we are associated with three different breeds.

1. Mandya/bandur : full meat breed.

2. Munjal : half wool & half meat, native of Haryana & Punjab . region known for its hardiness and fast growth.

3. Rambouillet : Exotic breed, half wool and half meat.

Recently we have been given permissions by the Govt of India to import the Dorper sheep which is a full meat breed ,After completing all the formalaties we are expecting the embryos from the best of the john dell and jordanian lines of south africa this Nov and hope to have dorper in our farm 6 months from then.

We hope dorper plays a very significant role in the quality of life of a sheperd with its exceptional weaning weights of 30 to 32 kgs in 4 months and other attributes like twinning, non selective grazing and self shearing (they shed their wool on their own).and good mothering qualities.Dorper is also known for its good quality meat with even distribution of fat and exceeds others in majority of carcass competitions.

We are looking for a resident manager to be based at the farm near Harohalli,Bangalore. The incubent should ideally have hands on experience in sheep rearing and breeding and is responsible for day to day running of the farm.Retired AH inspectors or young men with Diplomo in Animal husbandary are preffered.

Intrested candidates made please send their resumes with details of educational qualifications, work experience and expected salary,Please contact....
