Information - Land Ceiling in Tamil Nadu

Hi All,

I want to get into agriculture.

Is there a ceiling with regard to land ownership?

I am not born in an agriculture family. Can I purchase land in my name in Tamil Nadu?

Please help me with information.

Tamilnadu Land Ceiling Clearence

Hi,

You can buy agri land in Tamilnadu even if you are NOT from a farmer background or even if you don't hold any agri land in your name.

As per the Govt. Of Tamilnadu and Revenue Dept and Land reformce dept the ceiling limit is 50 Std Acres per person or per compny.

If you want to hold more lands that this then you have to apply for land ceiling clearence...
