We have a farm land of 9.2 acres, and plan to do farming and dairy. We also plan to grow fodder on leased land. We require the following services.

1. Bore well and and irrigation pipe line. The Bore should pump water into an existing open well (with water) and water for irrigation will be pumped from the well through pipeline to sprinklers.
2. A master guest house (studio type) one large room with attached bath and solar powered.
3. Cattle shed/barn large enough to house 40 cows + 5 calves and 5 pregnant cows. The barn should have individual water bowls for each cow automatically refilled from an overhead tank, as the bowl empties. The feed area expected to be designed so as to later use mobile TMR mixers to dispense feed. The barn expected to have minimal walls to provide more than ample ventilation.
4. Cheap/inexpensive fencing for the farm, the approx length is 1400 meters, owing to irregular shape and a pathway through the farm. We are fine with natural fencing solutions as we intend to use guard dogs.

Other information, which might influence design/selection of solution
1. The land is in a village and has other farm land all sides. The land is largely barren now with no cultivation done for the past 10 years.
2. We plan to employ the zero budget natural farming technique propounded by Mr. Subhash Palekar.
3. The land is situated in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu

Dear Sir,

1. Bore well and and irrigation pipe line. The Bore should pump water into an existing open well (with water) and water for irrigation will be pumped from the well through pipeline to sprinklers.
Sprinkler system is best.

2. A master guest house (studio type) one large room with attached bath and solar powered.
It is not a problem, you can go with natural materials to construct your dream house.

Free hosing method will give maximum comfort for cattle. Accordingly you can plan.

4. Cheap/inexpensive fencing for the farm, the approx length is 1400 meters, owing to irregular shape and a pathway through the farm. We are fine with natural fencing solutions as we intend to use guard dogs.
Other information, which might influence design/selection of solution

Not only cheap, but it will be profitable in feature too.

1. The land is in a village and has other farm land all sides. The land is largely barren now with no cultivation done for the past 10 years.
It is not a problem. However it will give very good results as soon as possible in ZBNF.

2. We plan to employ the zero budget natural farming technique propounded by Mr. Subhash Palekar.
Yes you can go ahead for improving health of you, your soil, animals and whole environment. I appreciate for your intention.

3. The land is situated in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu.
It is Ok.
Regards,
SWAMY.
