Dr. Shilpashree N is an Assistant Professor, Dept of Vegetable Science at Sri Krishnadevaraya College of Horticultural Sciences, Ananthpur. She has done PhD (Vegetable Science) at College of Horticulture in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Dr. Shilpashree N says “Vegetable production is very much important in our society, since those are protective food for the human body. Productivity/production of vegetables are very crucial to meet our daily requirement. Therefore advanced method of vegetable productions are required. So Hi-tech nursery production, grafting, soil less cultivation, protected cultivation, molecular technologies etc.. are need to be carried to increase vegetable production and productivity by reducing the yield loss caused by biotic and abiotic stresses.”
