Mr. Sudhakar says drip irrigation system is the method of irrigating plant by PVC pipe and lateral without any manual work. The purpose of drip irrigation is to irrigate plants in a proper manner with minimum usage of water.
Uses of Drip irrigation :
1) The usage of water is fixed and the vaporisation is avoided as the irrigation is done as drop by drop.
2) The fertilizer is used efficiently.
3) Since areas in between the plants won’t be receiving water, weeds are less likely to grow.
