Mr. Mukesh Yadav is a farmer from Manjhawali Village in Faridabad District. They are into agriculture for generations and has been cultivating wheat, rice, vegetables and sugarcane. He adopted an innovative technique to cultivate sugarcane crop through single bud method in order to achieve higher yield and reduce seed quantity. The yield obtained was high compared to planting sugarcane with conventional method. By seeing yield performance with this method, many sugarcane growers of his area are willing to adopt and have adopted this technique. He has received IARI Fellow Farmer Award.
