Mr. Aruneswar MGB from Thirumanur village in Ariyalur District, Tamil Nadu, has done B.Sc(Hons.) Agriculture from Lovely Professional University. He is currently working on to develop his startup with goal to turn farmers from mere producer to an entrepreneur. Mr. Aruneswar says sustainability & development is the need of the decade to ensure better & safe common future. This can be driven by Sustainable Agriculture as India is an agrarian economy, 85 % of water & 60% of soil resources used for agriculture in the country with the pressure on to satisfy, the needs of the growing population. Organic Agriculture, Smart Agriculture Techniques & Technology can help to achieve sustainability in Agriculture Sector. Sustainable Agriculture is an holistic approach to deal with the major existing problems in agriculture sector like weak economic conditions of farmers, over exploitation of top soil, etc.This is one better way through which we can eliminate poverty from cores of farmers. Sustainability is the key for future economic development.
