Dear Sir,
I am the ex employ of the one of the famous sugarcane research Institute, Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune, Maharashtra, India. This institute provides technical support to the co-operative sugar industry in the southern Indian States. As per our records we have achieved highest sugarcane yield of 122 MT/ acre. We have also scheduled the mass farmer programme to up grade sugarcane yield and in this mission we had achieved average of 100 MT / acre in 350 acre area. At present with the introduction of fast growing sugarcane variety COM 0265, the average yiled level in maharashtra cane grower is more than 90 MT/ acre.
