For herbal farm you can make hedges using plants like Aaduthoda (Adhatoda vasica), Henna (Lawsonia inermis), notchil(Vitex negundo), Chitramoolam(plumbago zeylanica). Make beds of plants 4x 10 beds. The herbs like Tulasi, keelanelli, Vallarai, senna, aloe, Manathakkali, lemon grass, bringaraj, Sirianangai, Omavalli etc.
Climbers like Gymnema sylvestre, Tooduvalai, Cissus quadrangularis, jatimalli, Seendhil (Tinospora cordifolia), Tylophora asthmotica, shatavari can be planted in beds with bamboo stick or metal stand support. Trees like, Vilvam, neem, varun, vengai, iluppai, kadambu, padiri, kumil, mahilamaram, arasamaram maamaram should be planted with a spacing of 20 - 25 feet.
