The price per acre in Tiruchirapalli District is Rs.55,000 upwards and good, cultivable land with adequate ground water potential fetches not less than Rs.1.50 lakh per acre.

If the price is quoted around Rs.20,000 per acre, chances are that the title may not be clear or the land may not be fit for cultivation.
