Hi,

I m owning a small dairy having 10 buffaloes. Now I want to setup a vermicompost plant to dispose off animal dung and other residual/waste organic material. I also want to sell it to farmars. Please tell :--
1) cost of setting up of a vermicompost plant
2) how many days it will take to make organic manure.
3) what is the market price of organic manure.
4) Is there any demand or market in rajasthan.

Please assist.

Regards,

Dear Sir

yes u can start up vermicompost any where u like.
Initially u plan for jus 5 pits of lemgth 9mts and breadth 1mt each. Then u can collect some straw may be of wheat, jowar, husk any straw.Dig the pits upto 1m depth. and put the chopped straw, mud of good quality, husk and allow it to break down for 15 days before u overturn it. see that u wet it per day. then after 15 days u can leave earthworms in it and again cover with some more straw. but wet it daily. vermicompost will get ready in about 2months time

Hallo Friends,

We, at Arjun Energy Corporation , have introduced Low cost Biogas plants
at a cost less than Rs.6000/- for one cubic meter plant, and with the slurry you get out of biogas plant you can make vermiculture.

We make vermiBeds out of HDPE Sheets . of for e.g 12' (L) x 4'(W) x 2'(H)
size for a cost of Rs.1200/- with provision for collecting vermi wash also.
You donot need any concrete structure and bricks for making vermi compost
you can simply make vermibeds and it is very successfully used by all the farmers. please call us at 094422 12345, 094862 12345, or mail us to
