Trees nearer to checkdam

Hello,

This is with regards to my agriculture land in chitradurga dist, karnataka. There is a
checkdam in the land and there will be an accumlation of 5 to 8 ft water during the rainy
season and the same takes 15 to 20 days for drying up. would anybody suggest what
type of trees i can plant nearer to the checkdam.

Dear Sir

u can plant teak, sal, rosewood so that these trees wont ned to be supplied with water yearly. u can just leave thm to grow
