Gravity destoner machine is mainly applicable for grain processing factories to separate the impurities from paddy, rice or wheat. The gravity destoner machine used in grain cleaning is called gravity stone removing. And the gravity selecting method used in paddy and paddy husk separating is called gravity paddy and husk separation. The destoner exploits the property difference in the weight and suspension velocity of grain and stone to grade them.
According to different medium, GRAVITY DESTONER MACHINE is divided into wet gravity selection method and dry gravity selection method. Wet method takes water as the medium and utilizes the density of grains and sand and their lowing speed to remove impurities. Dry method takes air as the medium. It uses the difference of specific gravity and suspending speed between grains and stones, and by means of air stream passing up through space of grain kernels, separates stones from grains.
