Table top vs Slope Land?

Friends,

Please throw some light on the advantages and disadvantages of the Table top (flatter) Land and the Slopey land. Looking at it from Agricultural point of view alongwith a small house in it.

Most of the land which I see for sale is on slopes and don't understand how these slopes are a good buy.
Please throw some light to enlighten me with your views.

Well drained slopey lands are suitable for Mango & Cashewnut plantations.
