Sowing - Harvesting Calendar

Is there a general information on vegetables as to their sowing and harvesting timing in India. Can anyone who has experience in growing different vegetables make one.

Which vegetables to sow/plant in which month and can be harvested in which month.

On net find a lot for USA, UK, Malaysia, etc but not for india.

vegetables is big pool it is difficult to say sowing period as it is classified several ways.
1.annual:-which complete its life cycle in one season.ex beans, cowpea tomato ,chilli, brinjol,all leafy vegetable
2.perrinial.
which completels life cycle in more than one season. ex:-tapioca, alocasia, colocasia etc.

generally vegetables are growned arond the year in south indina where as in North India it is difficult.sowed before rains starts, some vegetalbes like tomato thrives well in summer.

conclusion:sowing depend on temperature, rain and water availability naturally harvesting and however Oct to Feb is good season for all vegetable cultivation. for further details visint nearest Agriculture university.
