Shelf life of bitter gourd ?

Dear sir,
We have purchased a stock of bitter of 1 ton to be exported to dubai. Due to some delay in paperwork it is postponed by 3 days. We are not sure of the shelf life of the vegetable or could we store in cold storage in polythene bags. Thank you

Mr. Venkatesh, Store ur Bittergourd in Plastic Carat & stack it in ur nearest Cold Storage. Pls, don't use Polythene to wrap it as it will damage the outer skin of the Bittergourd, And regarding Shelflife? Do tell ur Farmers/Cultivators to use Bio-Potash, Bio-Silicone & Seaweed(PGR) to increase the Shelf life of the Veg. so that delay in Shipment to ur Party doesn't affect the Keeping-Quality of the Vegetables.
