Set up poultry

Dear Members,

Greetings!!!

I'm planning to set up poultry farm with 25000 to 30000 chicks. Can someone please tell me howmuch capital investment, land, loan from bank and any additional information required for setting up this.

As one of relative working in poultry industry. He told me the investment will be almost all same for setting up poultry farm with 25,000 chicks and 50,000 chicks. Is it true?

Dear sir,

You have not specified whether the proposed unit is broiler or layer (eggs)
Layer unit requires Rs.500 per bird and for 25000 birds Rs.110 to 125 Lakhs are required .

For 25000 birds and 50000 birds unit cost not the same.

For Broilers Rs.300/- per bird is required for setting up of the unit .

If you are really thinking of setting the units you may require project report for submission to the Bank for availing finance. Please contact the undersigned for project report .

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I'm looking for Layer farm (eggs). The total cost you mentioned Rs.500 per bird, does it include land cost also?

I already have 3 acres land available. Can you please tell me howmuch does it cost per bird if i have land and also how much loan i can get from bank? Is there any subsidy from Government for poultry farm.

Your help is greatly appreciated...
