Hi
i am independent farmer. can anobody help me with seed registration in gujarat?
do i need to apply to grow seed of any type ?
where can i get infor etc.

Hi Min,

The seed registration is compulsory for Nurseries,seed breeders not farmers.If you vegetate the seeds and sell in the market the seed registration is compulsory.The seed testing and certifying authorities will be available in each and every Dist.Head quarters under the control of Joint a Director of Agriculture.Any how I think Mr.Digpati Roy,Vijayawada is a international seed collector will know more about seed certigication.
