we r planning to PROFESSIONELY satawar farming at our western U.P area ,can u give me advise for this SATAWAR VARIETY detail which is most popular so that i start farming and also give me advise for purchase condition

Shatawar

Dear friend
Your time to grow is not appropriate.Winters have come & germination shall take minimum 2 to 3 months.However you may go for yellow shatawar.Please ensure the seed is genuine.Yellow shatawar does not grow like wild creeper but remains confined to its limited height which may go max up to 5-6 feet.Wish you success in your mission.You may contact CIMAP for genuine seeds.Our Society's farm shatawar is genuine but is in the flowering mode at the moment so our seeds shall not be available till may-june next year.
