I have grown G-9 Banana Tissue Culture plants in Shimoga. They have started flowering after 11.5 months of planting. As this will be my first harvest, I would like to know what is the correct time to allow one sucker to grow as a rattoon crop for the next season. Also, how can one be certain that the sucker allowed to grow as the rattoon crop is a sword sucker and not a water sucker ?
