Question on building FARM POND

Hi Friends

I am from Hyderabad and my 20 acres of site is near Vikarabad.
I have below questions regarding "How to build a FARM POND".


1. What is a ideal size for a FARM POND for 20 acres of site ?

2. What would be the idea type of liner for this FARM POND ?

3. How is a reliable suppler of this liner near Hyderabad OR can we get a good deal if we go to any specific out-of-state manufacture ?

4. What would be the total cost of this FARM POST including material & labor and instrumental rents ?

5. Do I have to take any permissions to build this FARM POND in my land. if any, what are they and how and from whom do I get them and what would be the procedure for it ?

[Padmanabhan Ganesan] - It is based on your water needs. But, you can allocate anywhere between 1% to 10%. 2. What would be the idea type of liner for this FARM POND ?
[Padmanabhan Ganesan] - What is the reason going for liner?
3. How is a reliable suppler of this liner near Hyderabad OR can we get a good deal if we go to any specific out-of-state manufacture ?

4. What would be the total cost of this FARM POST including material & labor and instrumental rents ?
[Padmanabhan Ganesan] - Generally, the cost is Rs.625/- per hour for JCB. You may need tractors for moving around the soil from the pond.
5. Do I have to take any permissions to build this FARM POND in my land. if any, what are they and how and from whom do I get them and what would be the procedure for it ?
