Purchase Yellow Zone Land In Bangalore

I am planning to purchase a land(5000 sqft of 50,000 sqft land) which comes under yellow zone in whitefield, bangalore, karnataka.
I don't come from farmer family. What are the rules involved in purchasing that land and getting it converted for building a house.
At present there is no farming happening in that land and it is now surrounded by residential/converted lands.
Please point me to location where i can get more details on it.

Yellow Zone Land

You can try to get the Deputy Commissioner's permission for Land for Agricultural purpose - it may be granted , but you will have to show your commitment towards cultivation. You will not be able to do anything else with such alloted land
