for to set up processing unit tomato, Ministry of food processing provides subsidy and all the nationalized banks will provide loan but dont just restrict to tomato you can think of diversified processing when tomato price are more than to three you cont process or cost of final product increases there fore think of setting up of multipurpose processing unit with same equipments (little addition) you can process mango, guava, banana, sapota as usual tomato all these crops are available in different seasons. for subsidy and other details Generic Error Page.

Hi Kathir,

It is important to first select the packaging of the final product. Tomato paste 1 MT per day is a very small quantity and no equipment available for producing such a small qtny because for paste production you have to use vaccuum concentration. If you are looking for a small project then you manufacture tomato puree (there is a difference of brix), this can be manufactured on small scale with minimum investement, simple machines are needed.
